Commercial terms

How fees work.

Fees are fixed for the agreed work and are not tied to whether a mortgage funds. Fees for work already completed remain payable if a borrower withdraws, a file is declined, or a transaction does not fund.

Fixed fee for agreed work
You pay for the defined scope we confirm in writing. Fees are not a commission and do not depend on the mortgage funding.
Completed work remains payable
If a borrower withdraws, a file is declined, or a transaction does not fund, fees for work already completed remain payable.
Additional work by approval
Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted separately and only begins once you approve it.
Complex files
Complex or non-standard files may require a written quote before we accept the assignment.
